WE LOVE CAMOUFLAGE

A couple of years ago, we went on a trip to Southern California with these guys…

It was right after Christmas and this guy…

had gotten new underwear for Christmas and it was camouflage.  We kept teasing him and asking him why he wasn’t wearing any underwear. He’d say, “I AM!!!” and we’d say, “ but we can’t see it because it’s camouflage.”

Anyway…  when you have lots of little grandsons and it’s Easter, you can’t very well make them frilly dresses, and when you have as many as I do you kind of have to watch the budget.

Soooo, this is what I did…

See how fun these look…

Won’t they be excited?

We looove camo (and rock hard Peeps)…

And zippers…

And wallets!!

And money to go in Wallets…

DSCF3107 I made some for the girls as well…

That was all the Easter I could handle this year.

They liked them.

How cute are those! Did you have a pattern or did you just whip them up? Did anyone run in the marathon? Say happy birthday to Roy on Wed. Mimi

Your camouflage story reminded me about a first grader I had once. I teach reading and he came in for his reading lesson. He was wearing a camouflage shirt and pants that day. He proudly told me I could not see him and I shouldn't bother to look for him because he was dressed in camouflage. Kids make our world go round.
Love your stuff here. --Beth
